Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and the organisation you represent ("you", "Center") and Two Little Steps ("Two Little Steps", "we", "our", "us"), governing your access to and use of the Two Little Steps platform, websites and related services (the "Service").
1. Acceptance of Terms
By signing up with Two Little Steps, you accept all the terms and conditions of Two Little Steps. By creating an account, or by accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a center or organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind it. If you do not agree, do not sign up for or use the Service.
2. The Service
Two Little Steps provides cloud-based practice-management software for child development and therapy centers, including scheduling, patient and therapist records, attendance, progress tracking, reporting, invoicing and parent communications. Features vary by subscription plan.
3. Eligibility & Accounts
The Service is intended for use by professional child development / therapy centers and their staff. You must provide accurate account information and keep it current. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account, and must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access. Each center account has one administrator and may add therapist and front-desk users; you are responsible for your users' compliance with these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) upload or process any personal data without all consents and rights required by law (including verifiable parental consent for children's data); (c) upload malware or interfere with, disrupt or compromise the Service or its security; (d) attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or to any other center's data; (e) resell, sublicense or make the Service available to third parties other than your own authorised users; or (f) use the Service in violation of any applicable data-protection, privacy, consumer, or medical-records law.
5. Fees, Billing & Renewal
Paid plans are billed in advance on the monthly or annual cycle and at the prices shown on our Pricing page, exclusive of taxes. Applicable taxes, including GST, will be added to invoices. Subscriptions renew automatically for successive terms of the same length unless cancelled before the renewal date. We may change prices or plan features on at least 30 days' notice, effective from your next renewal. Payments are collected by our payment gateway, Razorpay; we do not receive or store your full card details. If a free trial ends without a paid plan, or an invoice remains unpaid, your account may be placed in a read-only state — your data remains available to view and export — until payment is made. All fees are non-refundable except as set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
6. Refunds & Cancellation
You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops the next renewal and your paid access continues until the end of the current term. Refund eligibility is described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Not a Medical Device; No Clinical Advice
The Service is a practice-management and record-keeping tool. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical or clinical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and is not a substitute for professional clinical judgment. Licensed practitioners remain solely responsible for all assessment, treatment and care decisions and for the accuracy and completeness of the records they enter. You must not rely on the Service for emergency or time-critical clinical decisions.
8. Data Protection & Roles
As between the parties, the Center is the data fiduciary (controller) for the personal data it enters (including children's and families' data), and Two Little Steps acts as a data processor on the Center's documented instructions. Our processing is described in the Privacy Policy and governed by our Data Processing Agreement, which is incorporated into these Terms. You are responsible for providing all notices and obtaining all consents (including verifiable parental consent) required to enter and process the data you upload.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service and all intellectual property rights in it — including its software and source code, and its visual design, theme, look and feel, user interface, layouts, graphics, logos, icons, text and other content, together with all related trademarks, trade names and trade dress — are and shall remain the sole and exclusive property of Two Little Steps or its licensors, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property laws. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by Two Little Steps. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to access and use the Service for your centre's internal business purposes during your subscription. You retain all rights in the data you upload ("Center Data") and grant us only the limited rights needed to host and process it to provide the Service. You must not copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, republish, distribute, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit any part of the Service, its design or its theme without our prior written permission.
10. Service Availability & Support
We aim to keep the Service available and secure and to provide support as described for your plan. The Service is provided on a commercially reasonable-efforts basis and may be subject to scheduled maintenance, updates, or factors outside our control. We do not currently offer a contractual uptime guarantee.
11. Warranties & Disclaimers
Except as expressly stated in these Terms, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
12. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or statutory data-protection liability). Subject to that: (a) neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, or loss of profits, revenue, goodwill or data; and (b) each party's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service in any twelve-month period will not exceed the fees you paid to us for the Service in that period.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Two Little Steps harmless from third-party claims, damages and costs arising from (a) the personal data you upload or consents you were required but failed to obtain, or (b) your breach of these Terms or of applicable law.
14. Suspension & Termination
You may terminate by cancelling your subscription and closing your account. We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, material breach of these Terms, or to comply with law or protect the Service or its users. On termination we will make Center Data available for export for 30 days, after which it is deleted in line with our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will give active centers at least 14 days' notice by email or in-app; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you.
